IIM Raipur Launches New Digital Health Management Programmes

Raipur : Indian Institute of Management Raipur, through its Centre for Health Innovation, Policy & Digital Health (CHIPDH), in collaboration with Academy of Digital Health Sciences, has announced the launch of three new flagship Digital Health programmes aimed at healthcare professionals, hospital leaders, nurses, pharmacists, and senior healthcare executives. Registrations for these newly launched programmes are now open.

The newly announced programmes include the Chief Digital Health Officer (CDHO) Programme, the Professional Development Programme in Digital Health for Nurses, and the Professional Development Programme in Digital Health for Pharmacists. These initiatives are designed to strengthen Digital Health education and leadership development in India.

At the same time, the fourth batch of the Post-Graduate Certificate Programme in Digital Health (PGCPDH-4) and the third batch of the Executive Leadership Programme for Founders & CEOs of Hospitals (ELPFCEOH-3) are currently underway with participation from healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, policy experts, and Digital Health practitioners from across the country.

Highlighting IIM Raipur’s vision for the Digital Health sector, Prof. Sanjeev Prashar said that Digital Health is emerging as one of the most transformative sectors globally. He stated that IIM Raipur aims to build a strong ecosystem integrating management excellence, healthcare innovation, and technology-driven leadership to prepare future-ready professionals capable of leading healthcare transformation.

Speaking on the growing importance of Digital Health education, Dr. Rajendra Pratap Gupta said that healthcare systems worldwide are rapidly shifting toward AI-enabled and technology-driven healthcare delivery models, making Digital Health education essential for healthcare professionals and leaders.

Prof. Jighyasu Gaur, Chairperson of the Digital Health initiatives at IIM Raipur, stated that healthcare is witnessing unprecedented transformation through technology, data, and innovation. According to him, these programmes are designed to equip professionals with strategic and managerial capabilities required to lead Digital Health transformation and create sustainable healthcare systems.

The Chief Digital Health Officer (CDHO) Programme is specially designed for senior healthcare executives and C-suite healthcare leaders. The programme focuses on AI-driven healthcare systems, cyber governance, Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) compliance, and large-scale Digital Health transformation initiatives.

The Professional Development Programme in Digital Health for Nurses is jointly certified by the Indian Nursing Council, Academy of Digital Health Sciences, and IIM Raipur. The programme offers Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) credits and focuses on empowering nurses with Digital Health competencies and technology-enabled patient care capabilities.

Similarly, the Professional Development Programme in Digital Health for Pharmacists offers a self-paced curriculum focused on Digital Health applications for pharmacists and pharmacy students, with insights from globally renowned faculty members and healthcare experts.

Through these ongoing and upcoming initiatives, IIM Raipur continues to strengthen its role as a leading institution driving Digital Health education, healthcare innovation, and future-ready leadership development in India.
