NUSRL Ranchi Students Win State-Level Inter-University Debate at Yuva Gyan Samagam

Ranchi : Students of the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the State-Level Inter-University Debate Competition at the prestigious Yuva Gyan Samagam 2025–26, held from January 16 to 18, 2026.
The three-day event was organised by the Jharkhand State Youth Commission under the Department of Tourism, Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Jharkhand, and witnessed participation from universities representing all districts of the state.
Representing NUSRL Ranchi, Sakhi Sharma and Subham Sourav, both third-year students, displayed exceptional clarity of thought, persuasive argumentation, and intellectual depth. Competing against high-calibre teams from across Jharkhand, the duo emerged victorious and secured the Winner’s title along with a cash prize of ₹1,00,000.
The achievement highlights the strong academic ecosystem and vibrant debating culture at the National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi. The success of the students has brought laurels to the university and stands as a testament to their dedication, leadership qualities, and commitment to academic excellence.
