Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya to Host Three-Phase National Conference-cum-Workshop

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV), a Central University accredited with NAAC A++ Grade, is set to organize a National Conference-cum-Workshop on “Youth Entrepreneurship and Skill Development: Unlocking Opportunities in Developed India @2047” in three phases between January and March 2026.
The mega academic initiative is being organized under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Chakrawal, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad, and Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, New Delhi.
National-Level Guidance & Academic Leadership
The programme will receive strategic guidance from:
- Shri Atul Kothari, National Secretary, Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, New Delhi
- Prof. Neelambari Dave, Former Vice-Chancellor, Saurashtra University & National Patron (Women’s Wing)
- Prof. Ashwini Kumar Dixit, Registrar, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya
The initiative is being mentored by Prof. Anupama Saxena and Prof. Shailendra Kumar, Dean of Student Welfare.
Prof. Seema Rai is coordinating the programme, while Prof. S.C. Shrivastava is serving as the Nodal Officer.
Objective: Empowering Youth for Developed India @2047
The primary objective of this national programme is to promote:
- Youth entrepreneurship
- Skill upgradation
- Self-employment & self-reliance
- Economic empowerment
- Employment-oriented human resource development
The initiative aligns with the national vision of Developed India @2047, focusing on transforming youth into capable entrepreneurs and skilled professionals.
Three-Phase Programme Structure
Phase 1: Entrepreneurship Development Training
📅 19 – 31 January 2026
Participants will receive expert-led training on:
- Entrepreneurship development
- Capacity building
- Government schemes
- Start-ups & incubation support
- Financial resources for entrepreneurs
Phase 2: Skill Development Workshops
📅 02 – 07 February 2026
Hands-on, employment-oriented training will be provided in:
- Doll making & bamboo craft
- Herbal cosmetic products
- Nail art & bakery products
- Resin art & best-out-of-waste creations
- Artificial & tribal jewellery making
- Handmade bags
Phase 3: National Conference
📅 09 – 10 March 2026
A high-level national conference will bring together:
- Academicians
- Industry experts
- Policy-makers
- Young entrepreneurs
Discussions will focus on contemporary challenges and opportunities in entrepreneurship and skill development.
Expert Resource Persons & Registration
