IIM Jammu Concludes Staff Training Programme ‘Align and Aspire’
Jammu : The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu successfully concluded its three-day Staff Training Programme, “Align and Aspire,” with a grand valedictory ceremony held on 9th July 2025 at the Vivekananda Classroom.
The programme was designed to strengthen institutional capacity by aligning staff members with the Institute’s core values, enhancing professional competencies, and fostering a culture of collaboration and operational excellence.
The valedictory ceremony was graced by Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, along with senior faculty and officials including Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Faculty and Research; Prof. Nitin Upadhyay, Dean Academics; Prof. Shyam Narayan Lal, Chairperson, Anandam and Media & Communication Division; Prof. Ravij Seth, Professor of Practice; Dr. Harsha Jariwala, Co-Chairperson, Student Affairs; Shri Shailesh K. Lohiya, Librarian; and Cmdr. Kesavan Baskkaran, CAO, IIM Jammu. Officers and staff members were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, participants expressed appreciation for the structured sessions and their practical relevance. They highlighted that the programme enabled them to gain a deeper understanding of institutional processes, improve interpersonal communication, and strengthen their sense of responsibility and engagement.
The training programme is being conducted in two phases. Phase 1 participants stayed on campus for the entire duration to ensure full engagement. The sessions also created opportunities for cross-functional learning, team bonding, and sharing of experiences among staff members.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks to all facilitators, organizers, and participants, reaffirming IIM Jammu’s commitment to building a responsive, efficient, and growth-oriented administrative ecosystem through initiatives such as Align and Aspire.
