Faridkot : Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) commemorated Parakram Diwas 2025, marking the 128th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, as part of the Republic India @75 fortnight celebrations. The university paid homage to the legendary patriot, revolutionary leader, and icon of India’s freedom struggle, whose vision and leadership were instrumental in the country’s independence.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rajeev Sood shared his reflections on the occasion, emphasizing the relevance of Netaji’s ideals in shaping the future of young leaders. “Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s ideals resonate even today as a guiding force for young leaders to serve the nation selflessly,” he said.

The commemoration included reflections on Netaji’s extraordinary contributions, his journey from being a civil servant to the formation of the Indian National Army (INA), and his steadfast commitment to India’s freedom.
