Inauguration of Ramp at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College
Faridkot : Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rajeev Sood of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), inaugurated the newly constructed ramp at the Super Specialty Block of Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot. The event was graced by the presence of Gurdit Singh Sekhon, Member of the Board of Management and MLA Faridkot.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by esteemed dignitaries, including Dr R K Gorea (Registrar, BFUHS), Dr Deepak J Bhatti (Dean Colleges), Dr. Sanjay Gupta (Principal, GGS Medical College), and Dr Neetu Kukkar (Medical Superintendent, GGS Medical College). Several officers and officials of the university were also present on this occasion.
Following the inauguration, Prof Dr Rajeev Sood and Gurdit Singh Sekhon conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Super Specialty Block, reviewing various ongoing development projects. During the inspection, detailed discussions were held about the progress and requirements of the projects. Instructions were issued to the concerned officials to expedite work and ensure completion within a stipulated time frame, emphasizing high-quality standards.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Rajeev Sood reiterated the university’s commitment to advancing healthcare infrastructure and medical education. He emphasized the necessity of integrating state-of-the-art facilities for enhanced patient care. Gurdit Singh Sekhon commended the university’s consistent efforts to uplift the region’s healthcare standards and assured full support for future endeavors.
