Holy Child School students educational field trip to the School of Agricultural Sciences
School Students Visit SAS
Nagaland : On 1st November 2024, a group of eighty students from Holy Child School, Dimapur, accompanied by six teachers, embarked on an educational field trip to the School of Agricultural Sciences, Nagaland University (SAS, NU) at Medziphema Campus.
During the visit, the students explored various project units and departments, including the Entomology Insect Museum, Library, Education Museum, the All India Coordinated Research Project on Pig, STINER-TFC, and Plant Pathology Disease Museum. Faculty members, scholars, and project in-charges provided detailed briefings about the different departments and project units. The field trip ended with a short speech by the student representative and Prof Akali Sema, Pro Vice Chancellor, SAS, NU.
The visit of the school students was coordinated by Dr Waluniba, Asst Professor, Department of Entomology, and Dr Tsarila Z T Sangtam, Guest Faculty, Department of Livestock Production and Management.
