WEDC-CIED IUST Hosts Program on Meta-Literacy in the Digital Age

JAMMU KASHMIR Pulwama / Awantipora : The Women Entrepreneurship Development Cell (WEDC), in collaboration with the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (CIED) at Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), organized an insightful program titled “Meta-Literacy in the Digital World”. The event aimed to equip students and budding entrepreneurs with an understanding of the evolving nature of media and the importance of continuous learning in the digital era.

  • Dr. C.K. Bhardwaj, Founder of SEED (Society for Systematic Education for Everybody’s Development), COAIM, and Mr. Gyanam Suvigyanam
  • Dr. Shiv Satchit, Founder of Global Media Network
  • Mr. Arif Khanyari, Founder of ESOS Global

Dr. Bhardwaj emphasized the principles of Meta-Literacy and metaphysics, advocating for media as a tool for fostering selflessness and societal welfare. He praised IUST for fostering platforms that promote critical thinking and value-based education.

Prof. Parvez A. Mir, Director of CIED, highlighted the program’s relevance, stating, “In this era of rapidly changing media and technology, it is essential for entrepreneurs to grasp the digital world’s intricacies and leverage media ethically and effectively for societal progress.”
