Up gradation and Renovation of STP at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College & Hospital Commences
Faridkot : The Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot, is set to be upgraded and renovated to enhance its efficiency and environmental compliance. The project was inaugurated today by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rajeev Sood, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), during his site visit to the college.

On this occasion, Sh Parmjeet Singh, Executive Engineer (XEN), BFUHS, Dr Fathejeet Singh Maan, and other officials were present at the site. Dr Sood emphasized the importance of timely execution and quality assurance in the project. He instructed the concerned officials to ensure that the work is completed in a time-bound manner while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
The up gradation of the STP is a significant step towards sustainable waste management and environmental conservation at the medical college. This initiative aligns with BFUHS’s commitment to eco-friendly infrastructure and healthcare sustainability.
