Renovated Gym Inaugurated at Nagaland University Lumami
Lumami : The newly renovated Gymnasium at Nagaland University, Lumami campus, was officially inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Prof. J.K. Patnaik in a ceremony attended by Heads of Departments, faculty members, officers, staff, research scholars, and students.
The inauguration also featured a Yoga and Fitness Competition organized by the Sports Section under the leadership of Dr. Harish Tiwari, Deputy Director of Sports. The event was conducted as part of the Yoga Sangam Countdown Program in the lead-up to the International Day of Yoga on June 21, 2025.
Prof. Patnaik expressed his delight at the upgraded gym facilities and encouraged all members of the university community to make the best use of the available resources to maintain physical and mental well-being.

The event was hosted by Sports Coach Mr. Watimenba Longchar, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Coach Mr. Amritpal Singh.
