PU Vice-Chancellor Inaugurates RO Water Plant Funded by Indian Bank under CSR Initiative

Puducherry – Vice-Chancellor Prof. P. Prakash Babu inaugurated a 250-litre-per-hour capacity Reverse Osmosis (RO) water plant at the Humanities and Social Sciences Block, Silver Jubilee Campus, Pondicherry University. The initiative, funded by Indian Bank under its CSR program at a cost of ₹5 lakhs, aims to ensure access to safe and hygienic drinking water for students.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of M. Venkat Subramanian (Deputy General Manager), P. Subramani (Deputy Zonal Manager), and Shri Viswajith (Manager, Indian Bank – PU Branch), showcasing the bank’s commitment to student welfare through corporate social responsibility.
