New Delhi: Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH), forging a groundbreaking alliance to harness the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in transforming healthcare delivery and clinical research.

The MoU signing ceremony, held at SGRH, New Delhi, was graced by Prof. Anand Srivastava, Vice Chancellor, NSUT; Dr. N.K. Ganguly, Chairperson, Department of Biotechnology & Research, SGRH; Dr. D.S. Rana, Chairman, Board of Trustees, SGRH; and Dr. Ajay Swaroop, Chairman, Board of Management, SGRH. The collaboration was coordinated by Dr. Ankur Gupta (NSUT) and Prof. Sangeeta Choudhary (SGRH), the designated SPOCs for this initiative.

Under this partnership, NSUT’s technical expertise and SGRH’s clinical excellence will converge to advance AI-driven diagnostics, predictive analytics, medical imaging, telemedicine, and data-based public health insights. The MoU also paves the way for joint research projects, clinical training programs, and academic exchange, strengthening the bridge between academia and healthcare.

Speaking on the occasion, the leaders emphasized that the collaboration will drive breakthroughs in personalized medicine, integrating genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and radiomics to predict and design individualized treatment options. AI is expected to play a critical role in early disease detection, decision-support systems, and large-scale data analysis for complex conditions such as diabetes, cardiac and renal diseases, cancer, and neurological disorders.

This partnership is one of the first of its kind in India, bringing together a premier technology university and a multi-specialty hospital to jointly develop AI-powered clinical solutions, enhance medical education through simulation tools, and redefine patient-centric healthcare systems.

With this MoU, NSUT and SGRH reaffirm their shared vision of leveraging innovation for societal good, setting new benchmarks in clinical research, healthcare delivery, and the future of AI-enabled medicine.
