NDRI Students Excel in Agricultural Research Scientists Examination
Karnal : Under the inspiring leadership of Dr Dheer Singh, Director & Vice Chancellor ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal has achieved another milestone in its pursuit to generate quality human resource for dairy sector through outstanding selection of students in the recently announced Agricultural Research Service (ARS) results. Out of 56 successful candidates, 31 are proud students of ICAR-NDRI, with an striking rate of 56%; showcasing institute’s commitment to excellence in agricultural research and education.
7 students are selected in Livestock Production Management, 5 in Agriculture Extension Education, 5 in Animal Nutrition, 4 in Agricultural Economics, 3 in Dairy Technology, 2 in Animal Physiology, one each in Food Technology, Animal Biotechnology, Animal Genetics & Breeding, Dairy Chemistry and Animal Reproduction & Gynecology. Dr. Dheer Singh, Director & Vice Chancellor congratulated the selected students and appreciated their hard work. He credited this remarkable accomplishment as reflection of the dedication of our students, the relentless efforts of our esteemed faculty, and the robust academic environment at NDRI.
Dr Singh briefed that NDRI is serving for developing the quality human resource for Indian dairy sector, Research & Development Organizations, Universities and other government organizations. The institute has 100 percent placement record in recent years. Institute is offering quality education, opportunity for Hands-on-Learning and put greater emphasis on creativity and innovations. Dr Singh complemented the faculty of the institute for the proud moment and urges them to motivate students for excellence.
Selected students conveyed their gratitude to Director, scientists and faculty members of ICAR-NDRI for the inspiration, skilling and efforts in achieving their goals. Dr Singh is optimistic that this achievement inspire the next generation of scholars and researchers to aim higher and continue contributing to the nation’s agricultural and livestock development.
