Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar Youth Festival of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University is going
Gujrat / Surat : In the academic year 2024-25, the Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar 51st Youth Festival of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University is going to be held from 18/12/2024 to 23/12/2024 at the university campus. Various competitions were organized in the Economics Department under the Sadar Mahotsav. Under which, on 09/12/2024, an oratory competition and an Indian cultural dress presentation were organized in the Economics Department operating at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. The topic of the oratory competition was Rani Ahilyabai, Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s 150th birth anniversary – Biography of tribal social reformers, Nari Tu Narayani, Indian family system and Indian cultural dress. The presentation program was started in the traditional way by lighting the lamp. Then, after welcoming the teachers and students present, the competition was started.
Students studying in M.A. Semester 2 and 4 participated enthusiastically in the present competition. In which, in the oratory competition on the topic of Rani Ahilyabai, Yadav Dharti, a student of M.A. Semester 2, got the first position, Vasava Prakash, a student of M.A. Semester 2, got the second position and Gamit Jagriti, a student of M.A. Semester 2, got the third position. In the oratory competition on the topic of Lord Birsamunda’s birth anniversary, Vasava Neha, a student of M.A. Semester 2, was the winner and Vasava Prakash, a student of M.A. Semester 2, was the second. In the oratory competition on the topic of Nari Tu Narayani, Jagruti, a student of M.A. Semester 2, was the first. And in the oratory competition on the topic of Indian Family System, Vasava Bari, a student of M.A. Semester 2, was the winner. While in the Indian Cultural Dress Presentation, M.A. Semester 4 students Gamit Karan and Vasava Pratibha secured the first position, M.A. Semester 4 student.
Kalsaria Kinjal secured the second position and M.A. Semester 2 student Yadav Dharti secured the third position. All the students who participated in the competition were congratulated by the Honorable Vice Chancellor of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University Dr. Kishore Singh N. Chavda Saheb, Registrar Dr. Rameshdan Gadhvi and Head of the Department of Economics Dr. Gaurang Rami.
