Indrashil University Signs MoU with IIT Gandhinagar for Academic Collaboration
Mehsana / Gujarat : Indrashil University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN), marking a significant step toward academic excellence and collaborative research.
The MoU was formally signed on 21st May 2025, to foster cooperation in key areas including joint research projects, faculty and student exchange programs, knowledge sharing, and curriculum development. This partnership is poised to open new avenues for innovation, interdisciplinary research, and capacity building in emerging domains of science, engineering, and technology.

Prof. Rajat Moona, Director of IIT Gandhinagar, on the occasion stated, “Continuing on its commitment to education, IIT Gandhinagar has worked with several universities and institutions within India and outside to foster strong relationships towards the cause of technical education. The present MoU shall bring collaborative synergy between the two institutions.”
Prof. Dharmesh Shah, Provost of Indrashil University, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration. He stated, “This MoU with IIT Gandhinagar reflects our shared commitment to providing world-class education and research opportunities for students and faculty. We look forward to a productive partnership that will contribute to academic advancement and societal impact. This strategic alliance with IIT Gandhinagar will further strengthen Indrashil University’s initiatives in education, research, and industry engagement, reinforcing its role in knowledge-driven national development.”
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by distinguished faculty members, including Prof. S. P. Mehrotra, Prof. Nithin George, and Prof. Mithun Radhakrishna from IIT Gandhinagar, along with Dr. Kartik Jain, Dr. K. N. Tiwari, Dr. Vishvjit Thakar, and Mr. Nimish Dave from Indrashil University.
