Indrashil University Hosts University Level Smart India Hackathon 2025
Rajpur–Kadi : Indrashil University successfully organized the University Level Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025 on September 25 at the School of Engineering. The event was conducted under the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, AICTE, and Institution’s Innovation Council, providing a dynamic platform for young innovators to showcase their problem-solving skills.

The program began with a welcome address by Dr. Vishvjit Thakar, Dean of Engineering, who urged students to embrace innovation and creativity for addressing real-world challenges. Dr. D. J. Shah, Provost of Indrashil University, in his motivational message, highlighted the significance of such hackathons in nurturing future innovators. He also shared insights on Sodhyatra and Vishwakarma Yojna, inspiring students to combine social awareness with engineering solutions for sustainable development.

Multidisciplinary student teams participated enthusiastically, demonstrating expertise in software development and hardware innovation. The event was meticulously coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Piyush Patel (SPOC) and Dr. Vipul Dabhi (Coordinator), with support from co-coordinators Dr. Alok Tripathi, Dr. Jatin Patel, Ms. Riddhi Mehta, Ms. Ankita Tripathi, and Mr. Yogesh Kushwah. Student coordinators Ronak Prajapati and Pradip Prajapati, along with team members Keni Patel and Tirth Thakar, also played key roles in the successful execution of the program.

The hackathon concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Vipul Dabhi, who appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and participants. The event served as a launchpad for students to advance to the national-level Smart India Hackathon 2025, where innovation meets opportunity.
