IIT Hyderabad Signs MoU with Central Sanskrit University to Promote Indian Knowledge Systems and Interdisciplinary Research
Hyderabad | June 11, 2025 – In a landmark move aimed at revitalizing India’s ancient wisdom through modern innovation, IIT Hyderabad (IITH) and Central Sanskrit University (CSU), New Delhi, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in the fields of Sanskrit, Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), and interdisciplinary research.
This strategic partnership brings together IITH’s cutting-edge technological expertise and CSU’s rich legacy in Sanskrit and traditional Indian knowledge, with the shared goal of building a vibrant academic ecosystem that fuses heritage with innovation.

Scope of the MoU Includes:
- Joint research in Sanskrit, linguistics, Vedic Sciences, Computational Sanskrit, Philosophy, and allied fields
- Faculty and student exchange programs to encourage collaborative learning and research
