Hands-On Training Workshop (ITFA – 2025) Successfully Conducted at Indrashil University

Rajpur : The Department of Forensic Science, School of Science, Indrashil University, successfully organized a one-day Hands-On-Training Workshop on “Instrumental Technique used in Forensic Analysis (ITFA – 2025)” on April 9th, 2025. The event brought together more than 65 enthusiastic participants from prestigious institutions such as National Forensic Sciences University – GND, Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Dharmsinh Desai University, NSIT, and several others.

The workshop aimed to provide practical exposure to advanced instrumental techniques used in forensic investigations. Attendees had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with sophisticated analytical instruments—many of which are available only at Indrashil University in this region—enhancing their understanding of modern forensic tools.

Dr Vinay Kumar Srivastava, a renowned expert in Forensic Science and Post-Blast Investigation, was invited as the keynote resource person. His insightful session bridged theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, emphasizing the critical role of instrumentation in forensic casework and inspiring future forensic experts of the nation.

The event was honored by the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Provost Dr D J Shah, Registrar Dr Kartik Jain, Dean of School of Science Dr K N Tiwari, and Dean of School of Pharmacy Dr Nehal Shah. The workshop was effectively coordinated by Dr Tanveer Hashmi and Mr Hemendra S Tank, along with active support from the faculty members of the School of Science.

The ITFA – 2025 workshop stood out as a significant initiative in strengthening forensic education through practical learning and expert-led training, reaffirming Indrashil University’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation in forensic science.
