First Public Memorial Lecture in Honour of Late Nani Palkhivala to Be Held at MNLU Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Maharashtra National Law University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (MNLU-CS) will organize the First Public Memorial Lecture in Honour of Late Shri Nani Palkhivala, one of India’s most eminent senior jurists and constitutional experts, on Saturday, 10 January 2026, at the University Seminar Hall.

The special lecture, titled “Navigating Challenges of the 21st Century and Constitutional Limits of Courts,” will be delivered by Hon’ble Shri Justice Joymalya Bagchi, Judge of the Supreme Court of India.

Distinguished Judicial Presence

The programme will be presided over by Hon’ble Shri Justice Prasanna B. Varale, Judge of the Supreme Court of India and Chancellor of MNLU Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, who will grace the occasion.

Several eminent members of the judiciary are expected to attend the memorial lecture, including:

The event will also witness the presence of other sitting and former judges of the Bombay High Court (Aurangabad Bench).

The programme will be attended by Prof. Dr. Bindu S. Ronald, Vice-Chancellor of MNLU-CS, along with Prof. Dr. Dhanaji Jadhav, Registrar of the University, faculty members, staff, students, and invited guests.
