Central University of Kashmir Organise Health Camp for Devotees at Mela Kheer Bhawani
Ganderbal : The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) extended its community outreach efforts by organizing a social service and health camp for the thousands of devotees attending the annual Mela Kheer Bhawani. The initiative was spearheaded by the Directorate of Students Welfare (DSW), in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit and the Health Centre of the university.

The day-long camp, held on the revered premises of the Kheer Bhawani shrine, witnessed active participation from university volunteers, faculty, NSS staff, and administrative personnel, who came together to offer refreshments and basic health support to devotees arriving from across Jammu & Kashmir and beyond.
“The camp was aimed at ensuring a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for all pilgrims. CUK has always strived to support community initiatives, and this camp is part of our long-standing commitment to serving society.”
