Berhampur University Students Visit Central University of Odisha on Academic Study Tour
Koraput : A team of 34 students and two faculty members from the Department of Economics, Berhampur University, visited the Central University of Odisha (CUO) as part of an academic study tour. The delegation was led by Prof Mrutyunjay Swain, Head of the Department of Economics, Berhampur University. The visit was coordinated by the Department of Economics, CUO.
Prof Chakradhar Tripathi, Vice-Chancellor of CUO, extended a warm welcome to the visiting team. In an interactive session, the team was received by Dr Minati Sahoo, Associate Professor, and felicitated by Prof Rathi Kanta Kumbhar, Head of the Department of Economics, CUO. Prof Kumbhar emphasized the significance of academic exchange programs and encouraged future collaborations.
Prof Swain expressed his appreciation for the visit, highlighting its benefits for students and extending an invitation for CUO faculty and students to visit Berhampur University. During the session, students from both universities engaged in candid discussions, sharing their observations and experiences.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr Prasant Kumar Behera, Associate Professor. Faculty members Biswajit Bhoi, Dr Babloo Jakhar, and Dr Priyambada Pradhan were also present.
